Amy with her two beautiful children

HI THERE!

Amy lives and works on beautiful Whidbey Island, a 60-mile long island in the Puget Sound, accessible from the south by a Washington State Ferry. She fell in love and moved to Whidbey in 2011 , and has been making this small community her home ever since. Whidbey is full of inspiration, from the incredibly encouraging community of talented artists, to the enchanting natural vistas in every direction. Amy loves to hike and explore the Island and beyond, always seeking something beautiful to go home and paint!

Most days you can find Amy at home with her two young children, or helping to manage a local construction office. In a former life (pre-kids!) she worked in a handful of public communication & outreach positions and picked up a variety of design skills on the job. She also performs occasionally in an alt-country bluegrass band, Weatherside Whiskey Band (check out their album covers)!

Art has been an important part of Amy's life since childhood, and she is always seeking new ways to make beautiful and useful things. She has previously shown her work at the First Thursday Art Walk at Occidental Park, and at the Blue Water Art Works Gallery in Poulsbo, WA.
